Salvatore Centonze Story

1966-1968
Salvatore “Sal” was drafted on December 8, 1966 and assigned to Fort Jackson, SC for Basic Training and then to Fort Gordon, GA for Advanced Individual Training in the Signal Corps.
He was then assigned to the 7th Army/USAREUR in Neu Ulm, Germany with Company D 1st Signal Bn as a Communication Center Specialist with a Secret Crypto Clearance.
During his tour in Germany, Sal had Temporary Duty Assignments in Munich, Stuttgart and Nuremberg.
His company was relocated to Fort Hood, TX where he was honorably discharged on December 6, 1968 from the United States Army.
