Peter was born in NYC and moved to Deer Park at just 6weeks old. Pete’s interest in flying started when he was 18 years old on. On one of his first jobs at the Islip airport, he had to replacing outlets and putting in light switches. When Peter was all finished with his work he was waiting for his boss to return and was then watching the planes take off and land. A man came up to him and asked him
If he wanted to go flying and Peter at the time was on company time so the man asked Peter to come back on the weekend and he’d take him flying. At that very moment Peter was hooked. Peter started flying in 1990 and joined the coast guard auxiliary as a pilot and has participated in missions from search and rescue to cold stunned turtle relocation. Officially stationed in cape cod, he is a passionate pilot and auxiliary member. He flies a PA34 twin engine airplane and is also helicopter rated. Peter graduated from Deer park high school and the Wilson Tech Electrical program in 1974.
Peter has started his own business as an electrician in 1980 with his wife Jennifer. He and his son Michael still run the business today. He has continued to be a pillar of the Deer Park community for over 43 Years
I want thank Peter for all his hard work and dedication.
