Frank M. Quinn was an Army Staff Sargent stationed in Panama during WW2 where he and his men were protecting the Panama Canal from possible destruction by the Japanese. He was involved with Radar use for an antiaircraft battery.That in which helped him secure a job after coming home from the war as an electrician working for Telautograph in NYC. He was the Shop Steward for Local 3 Electricians Union. He married the love of his life Mary Mobbs from Brooklyn NY and moved to Lindenhurst in 1950 raised 2 daughters Eileen C Quinn & Janet Quinn-Procyk, & 1 son Hon. James F. Quinn. My Grandparents were so kind to thier Community:doing much Volunteer work for thier church OLPH and The Broadway Lindenhurst K of C My Papa Frank died too soon getting Alzheimer's Disease and passed in Nov. 1994 at 74 years old Mary my grandmother lived the rest of her widowed life with her daughter and grandchildren then in Broadlawn Mannor Nursing Home and passed April 8th 2008 at age 86. All of us in the Quinn family miss them both so very much.
