Chris graduated from Copiague High School in 1982 and enlisted in the United States Air Force soon after. He served in the Air Force for 23 years and did tours overseas in Turkey, Korea , Guam and Holland. In the United States he did tours in North Dakota , South Dakota , Texas , Louisiana and Alabama. He retired from the Air Force in 2006 as a Master Sergeant E-7 .
After the Air Force Chris joined the Lindenhurst Veterans of Foreign War and worked his way up to Post Commander and then to Suffolk County Commander. Chris and his comrades go once a month to Northport Veterans Hospital to feed the less fortunate veterans that are confined to the hospital.
Chris also serves as Primary Minister at Saint Johns Lutheran Church in Lindenhurst and is also a Confirmation Instructor at Saint Johns Church.
